Whit Friday Band Contests are always " a grand night out" and this year was no exception. Rather a slow start due to bank holiday traffic in Glossop and a six bands wait at Celtic, but once we got going it just got better and better, culminating in a prize winning performance at Denton, our final venue, where we were second in the Fourth Section.
