Thank you to all the Friends of Whaley Bridge Band who have contributed to our Prize Draw over the last 13 years. Thousands of pounds have been raised for Band funds, which is truly amazing.
But all good things come to an end, and the time has now come to bring Friends of |Whaley Bridge Band
Prize Draw to a close. At it's peak, there were 120 members, but this has now dwindled down to just 30 and the Draw is not longer viable. The first draw was in August 2010 and the last one is July 2024.
But the good news is that it is only the Prize Draw which has closed.
Whaley Bridge Band is still very much alive and kicking, and already rehearsing hard for our summer engagements.
First up is Kettleshulme D-Day anniversary celebrations in on 8th June, then WB Carnival and Well Dressing at the end of the June, and a full on D-Day celebration concert in the Canal Basin on Sunday 7th July.
