Members of the Whaley Bridge training and senior bands played at the Cenotaph in Whaley Bridge Memorial Park, where the Remembrance Service was held this year. Laurie Walton performed the Last Post and Sheila Walton conducted the band during the hymns.

Following on from last years' highly successful Bier Kellar, Whaley Bridge Band entertained a full house at Kettleshulme Village Hall, with a night of music from the shows. Under the baton of Robert Dixon we performed a variety of numbers from 'Jesus Christ Superstar', 'Les Miserables', 'Chess' and 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' but to name a few. The evening was a fundraiser for the village hall, and we are pleased to announce that over £800 was raised.
