An action Packed month for the band. A cavalcade of carols and Christmas music, all fun and festive celebrations with our local community.
An early start to the season at the Trees Festival at Trinity Church, followed by three Christmas Tree Switch Ons - including of course our very own Whaley Tree - coffee morning at Spire house (many thanks to Hilary and David Lomax for their hospitality) Kettlshulme Fayre, lunchtime carols at The Swan and an evening at The Pack Horse in New Mills.
And in the week leading up to the big day, carols at Alderbrook Day Centre after their Christmas lunch - they really are the most enthusiastic audience in the whole world! - and then our Christmas Special concert at the Bowling Club,.Thanks to all our guest players who helped make this a really special concert. And finishing up with two sessions of carols at Tesco's. Big thanks to Tesco's staff for their hospitality and to the customers for their generosity.
Well done Whaley Bridge Band, you certainly have some stamina!
