Members of Whaley Bridge Senior and Training bands have much to celebrate. During the Summer
eight members of the bands took their Associated Board grading exams all passing with flying
colours.

Alice Bell & Holly Slack achieved Distinctions in Grade 2 Bb Cornet whilst Christian Boon
received a Distinction in Grade 2 Bb Bass. A Distinction was also awarded to Javan Carrington in
Grade 3 Bb Cornet.

Merits were achieve by Cerian Marsden in Grade 5 Euphonium and Helen Roberts in Grade 2 Eb
Horn, while Passes were awarded to Dillon Roberts in Grade 3 Bb Cornet and Steven Farragher in
Grade 1 Cornet.

Alex Camenzuli also sat his Grade 5 Bb Trombone independently & we congratulate him on his
success at achieving a Credit.

This has been the largest entry the band has had and band tutor's Lorraine Jenkins and Laurie &
Sheila Walton were full of pride at the hard work & subsequent success of each candidate.
