We had a fantastic day out this Whit Friday, playing at 8 venues around Tameside. We are delighted to announce that we have improved on last years' results, with our best result at Denton Cricket Club - we came 19th out of 41 and won a prize for best 4th section basses!

The band would like to thank the guest players who helped us fill the cornet section: Thank You Jan, Lou and Mark! 

And special thanks to our youngest players, Emrys and Rhianne, who marched down with us at each venue and did a fantastic job of it! 

The band would like to congratulate four of its junior members on very successfully passing their ABRSM practical exams in May:

Emrys Williams - Grade 1 Cornet, passed with distinction
Dillon Roberts - Grade 1 Cornet, passed with distinction
Alex Camenzuli - Grade 1 Trombone, passed with distinction
Cerian Marsden - Grade 3 Euphonium, passed with distinction
