Only three months after celebrating Her Platinum Jubilee, residents of Whaley Bridge gathered again in the Canal Basin for a service of Thanksgiving for our late Queen and her incredible reign.
This Service was a slight change to the programme for End of Summer Songs of Praise which Whaley Bridge Churches Together had already organised for this Saturday, and the Band were well prepared to accompany the singing both during the Service and in the shortened "Songs of Praise." which followed.
Yet again the sun shone for this special Whaley Bridge community occasion.
