A busy Bank Holiday Weekend for the Band.
First on was Kettleshulme on Coronation Day itself, with what was planned as a picnic in the park listening to the Band in the Bandstand. But the weather had other ideas, the event was held in the warm and dry of the Village Hall.

As with all Kettleshulme special occasions, the Hall was packed to capacity and the audience joined in the singing with enthusiasm.
And a First Performance with Whaley Bridge Band for Rachel on Tenor Horn. Only a few weeks since her first rehearsal, but she was soon up to speed after a career break from banding, and didn't she do us proud! Sheila had added "a few extra bits" to her part, but she wasn't phased. Well done, Rachel, welcome aboard.
