Fortunately, it was a dry evening and the players who were unable to squeeze into the
Wendy House didn't get wet.
Saturday morning brought our 3rd Christmas play out, at our Band Room in the Village Hall in Kettleshulme for their Christmas Coffee Morning.
A pleasure to play on home ground amongst friends, especially when they are such excellent home bakers - tea and cake much always appreciated by thirsty bandsmen after a blow.
A few hours off, then down to Whaley Canal Basin for the lighting of the Whaley Bridge Christmas Tree.
Sadly, the weather had taken a turn for the worse, and it was a wet and windy evening.
Never the less, the lantern procession braved the elements down the tramway, and joined in the Nativity carol singing with enthusiasm.
